1) Cincinnati Storage Space Guide.
5' x 5' (25 sq. ft.)
Similar To: A small closet. Will hold smaller furniture, boxes and household items.
5' x 10' (50 sq. ft.)
Similar To: A long walk-in closet. Will hold sofas, beds, refrigerators, large chests.
10' x 10"(100 sq. ft.)
Similar To: An average bedroom. Will hold (3) rooms of furniture without major appliances.
10' x 15' (150 sq. ft.)
Will Hold Up To: 4 to 5 rooms of furniture with major appliances.
10' x 20' (200 sq. ft.)
Will Hold Up To: 1 automobile or furniture,major appliances from a modest to large sized house.
10' x 30' (300 sq. ft.)
Will Hold Up To: 10 to 12 rooms of furniture or the equivalent of a 50 foot moving van.
2) Pack your storage space carefully. Protect fragile goods with packing, bubble wrap or other and place near the top of the storage space.
3) Use all the space available, including the height, and place frequently used goods near the door.
4) To help control moisture and odors in your unit, place small open containers filled with charcoal briquettes around your unit.
